rear door stuck

hope you can help chaps, 2000 td5 with central lockin. when unlocking all the knobs go up and down as you expect but the rear door will not open, it still seems locked. i have managed to take the card off and everything seems connected, the brassy looking bit goes up and down but door wont open . can anyone shead any light on this or have any clue how to open this door so i can investigate further.... cheers

Probably an issue with the external assembly. They do stick sometimes. Best to remove it and have a good look.

nothing to do with external hardware as i can see that from the insideit is doing its job. i am looking at the workings and want to get it open so that i can take bits off to check, if that makes sense

Not sure if its the same set up but on the early disco they have similar probs .
They take of the badge covering the lock to get it open....!
but ya may want to get more advise first...
