Hi all
Need some help in identifying which rear axle I have on my 90...its got discs so is it a defender or discovery axle?
Reason I'm asking is I need disc backing plates...anyone have any spare? Will also be looking for discs
Thanks in advance

I had a disc braked rover axle on the back of my 1987 90, I think someone had fitted it off a disco. You don't need disc backing plates BTW and you're better off without them, they're a pain in the arse

Hi The wolf...wasn't sure if it was mot failure

Unless half shafts are not original I would say Disco axle. It is the more common swap.
Ps I don't bother with the front brake shields either.
