Started up the car to leave work.

Heard a bong and the ABS TC and HDC lights were on and no TC or ABS working.

Near home ACE failed despite no leak and plenty of fluid.

Restarted engine seems ACE OK.

Any ideas where to look please?

Sounds like it n needs plugging in to diagnostics to see which faults are logged, then go from there.
Good Luck
kev

I think so too.

Could be ECU, could be sensor, could be flaps.

I will try the garage near work tomorrow and failing them M&M Saturday

Shut till Monday

Aghhhh

I need one of these computers!

My OBDII reader doesn't work on it

D2 is NOT OBDII compliant....

Might be SVS electrical fault - the wiring shuttle solenoids underneath the ABS modulator goes bad.

Hopefully it may just be a hub sensor - diagnostics should tell you which one.

Had my 3 amigos reset - one of the faults was SVS electrical fault. Everything fine..for now, but will be carrying out wiring mod soon. ;)

Will try to get codes read soon, been checking over nothing has come loose

Thanks

Martin

Earthing points are worth checking, as well these can lead to reference ground faults in the slabs unit. Just take them all of, clean up and retighten.

I know but worth a try as it does pick up engine RPM. Will need to PX it for a nanocom

I live in Worcester, I will be going to M&M on Saturday and wil ask if they will code read for me, no idea if they will though

Some interesting developments

Wne tto M&M and they put it on their Bearmach code reader, did not recognise my ABS ECU, so they cleared faults and lights stayed on.

Anyway, they said they won't charge me but try another code reader. So I started up, pulled out, looked at dash, no warning lights.

Slammed my brakes on hard, judder judder, ABS is back.

then I tried HDC on a downhill.

Bong bong bong, fault lights are back!

Aghhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Will try another reader on Monday.
