Goin off the topic a bit but that rear winch bumper, can you still tow with it? I've Been thinking of getting one because I don't fancy cutting my tub to fit a winch. Ur landy looks brill.

yeh it came with towbar fittings but i sold it..
thats the reason i went for that setup it was easier than cutting into the xmember or inside the rear...

So I take it you can still tow the vehicles maximum towing capacity? (what I mean is after fitting, the towing capacity isn't reduced) where did you get it from btw, everywhere I've looked has stated that the one they sell is not to be used as a tow bar.

i got it from douglass motors in wimborne nr poole dorset..

the towbar that was with it used existing towbar mounting points aswell as being bolted to the winch bumper..

Thanks for the info, ial give him a call in the week, can u give me a clue as to the price? (just so I know) thanks again mate.

Just googled it and fortunatly they have a web site, £345 if i remember correctly. Thanks again mate. Hope your sale goes well, (make sure you are completely happy beforehand though, once it's gone it's gone)

You sold it? or selling ?

Did you manage to find out what was the cause of lack of power you were having? if you did, what was it?

In my case it was my injector nozzles. The power deteriorated over a period of about 3 weeks so I took them to get tested. The results showed poor spray patterns and low opening pressures. I bought a set of four Firad nozzles, fitted them myself and it's restored all of the lost power - it quite literally goes like **** off a stick again! :D

Have a look here:

Out of curiosity - you're going to be getting a lot of questions like this me thinks - where'd you get that winch bumper (the front one)?

I'd have been interested but now I've got the 110 I'm pleased as a lab in water with something dead in it's mouth. Between the shooting / climbing / general outdoorsy stuff I don't think I could go back to a 90 as an everyday vehicle - having the space of the 110 is a god-send. Although people have been finding it slightly ridiculous how big the boot is - and they haven't seen it with the middle row of seats folded down yet...

the front bumper was custom made for me by moonraker 4x4...my brief to him was i wanted it as high as poss and as far back as poss..i think he achieved that

Mind me asking how much it set you back? I've got a hefty winch on my SIII which I'd like to move across to the 110 but want it to be "discreet" so to speak and the standard bumpers which'll take it stick out like a sore thumb.

Also the lights would be a really useful edition for rabbiting...
