Good news!
Wow @gstuart you went to town and showed it who the boss was.
Don’t you just love the fact LR never heard of copper slip/ grease when they put these beast together
J
While you out buying your Irwins(not got any of them but have heard they are good) I would still say a good 6point stands a chance.
I quiet often break out my impact gun sockets as they are a little bit thicker walled 6 point.
J
You may find a decent flange drive ring spanner will get a grip on that as well,
Cheers
Were you using 12 point sockets on that? 6 point are betterer
Always hate it when you are ready to get something done and something like that happens.
Got luck with tomorrow’s efforts
J
Whassat mate?
Edit..Just had a Google, do you mean flank drive?
@1988smithy ,
Hi mate and know exactly how u feel when I had to replace my upper wishbone , they are ==&&#&@&@*@& to get out , took me 2 x days trying to cut through the bolts , the actual bolt itself rusts solid inside the metal sleeved Bush
Indeed a thin slitting disc is the way to go, u may cut the head off and find the actual bolt is rusted solid , I used the Irwin sockets along with 6 x sided sockets , wouldn’t budge an inch
Have u got any plus gas or a blow torch along with some drifts
I used some coppaslip , also like the ceramic grease
Found a dremel is good to use along with a cut off air tool
If i may Don’t forget when u jack it up, off road height , then pull fuse F26 in the engine bay, axle stands underneath , when u reinstall the fuse landy will drop to bump stops, start engine and will self level again
Hope u get on ok,

term might be wrong, they pick up on the flats of the bolt head rather than the corners. Various suppliers use different names for the same thing.
Cheers
I've searched flange and flank drive, the ring end is 12 point is that right?
Edit crows foot..?
