Range rover lpg v8?

Mine runs the same as Saints...90 litre tank, holds 75 litres and does about 250 on a tank. Average 15.6 mpg over last 7k miles with a good mix of steady motorway miles and hooning around country lanes.

Mine switches at 62degrees iirc, takes about 5 mins to get to temperature.
The filters on my voltran kit are inside the distributor bars just before the injectors.

Got the lpg system serviced and its a lot better. Service was carried by a guy called Dougie who works out of his home garage, he fully certified and worked in the lpg industry for 30 years. He is located in Muirend, Gartcosh just outside Glasgow. Very reasonable price for service and repair ( changed all filter, fixed a small leak and replaced a faulty solinod, calibrated the system, all in for £119.) The car feels a lot more responsive.

Drove down to Great Yarmouth today and got 300 miles out of one tank doing a steady 75mph :)

He did however find a problem with the main cooling fan, he said there was some play in the bearings, how much is this going to cost???? :(

Only get a tenner off...I never bothered....not sure what is involved!

Mine is registered with the UK LPG Association though!
Don't think mine was either, although i just got rid of it today, mine was UKLPG registered also, a requirement for most decent insurance companies i think.

LPG cars no longer congestion charge exempt in London!

And even those new cars that were originally low-emission have now been reclassified and have to pay, so all those poor saps who rushed out and paid up for a new car to avoid the congestion charge now have to pay just like the rest of us.

Just goes to show that the Govt/councils will change the goalposts any time they like!

Oh well, guy who bought mine bought for same reason i did, i.e. Loved the thought of running a V8 at nearly half petrol costs, :)
