1992 Hard dash SE.

Just replace offside front inner wing.

Re-assembled everything but

1) Front right indicator not working
2) Side and rear indicators flash at much higher rate than left hand side (where all indicators are working).
3) Front rhs sidelight not working.

I've checked all the earths and replaced one of the fuseable links on the loom on the positive side near the battery.

I seem to have a break (due to corrosion in the plug between the bulb holder and the loom) - tied clean ing it up to no avail.

The biggest issue I'm having though is when the ignition is on, and I turn the headlights on, the central locking locks itself.

Any ideas appreciated.....

Check the earths again sounds like something is not grounded properly.

Will do.

Got the indicators and sidelights working properly today - corrosion in the multiple so changed that out. I will recheck the earths tomorrow as the locking is still playing up, but at least the list of problems is reducing (for now at least.....).

Turns out I put too many relays when I put the dash back together - I remember one of the yellow slots being empty but couldn't remember which one - did\t think that putting a spare relay in the spare slot would make a difference!

All sorted now....

Well I was wrong. Now when the engine is running, headlights on, use full beam and the doors lock again.....anyone any ideas? Starting tp loose the plot with this one.....

So you took the dash out ??

Did the door locks and full beam trigger before you took the dash out ?
