Prices do seem crazy on the RRC. But then, what else would you use?
You really shouldn't need to lift it much, if at all. Flatdog offer the standard spring rates in +2"
https://www.flatdoguk.com/FD-Springs-Land-Rover.asp
Although as they are standard rate, the lift will only be mild. If you want more lift then stiffer springs will work, but ride, handling and flex may be impacted.
A +2" spring will also allow you to run +2" shocks, which will make it flex much better off road. All on standard mounts and bump stops (will probably need longer brake lines).
Or you could combine with a +1" spring/lift packer. But I'd probably not bother tbh.
Next up would be to look at tires. See if you can find yourself some 7.00 x 1 6 or 7.50 x 16 tyres. The 7.00's should fit no problem, but tyres of this size are rare (I use some this size for competition trials).
7.50s are still quite narrow. But you might want to watch the rear wheel arch, it may rub. A 235/85R16 is an option, but they are quite a lot wider and more likely to impact the body work. Keep to more narrow rims and offsets.
