If only it were so simple., Might be for OP but I know it doesn't work for me. Not sure if the fact only the driver's door has a keyhole has any bearing. But I'm leaning towards that, as every time they freeze the driver's door is last ( and hardest) to unlock. Even driver's side passenger door opens whilst driver's door is quite unpolitely saying "nope not today , thanks".

I thought exactly the same thing regarding the drivers door being the only one with a key. Yesterday I sprayed oil in the lock and keyhole, and this morning it was fine, even though it was a couple of degrees colder.
