Hey thanks a bunch! those two are actually the same one but that would be ideal and I would only have to tow the thing about 20 miles so hopefully no one would see me! I'll ring em on monday and see what the deal is!
Remind me where Littletons is Rover?

HGVs I would vote for. Lets get more goods delivered by rail. I am under 70 and listen to radio 2 drive a 4 by 4 for essential reasons, accessing difficult off road areas, and recreational reasons, shooting and working my dog, the rest of the list cause less damage to road surfaces than HGV's

Think you need to keep working one up the dog KVR how many frigging railway lines do you see ending at your corner shop!!! the goods have to be delivered from the rail depot's somehow. keep shooting those defencless animals pal.

If you come from the lenches head towards the a44 oxford road at the bottom of the evesham bypass. turn left towards badsey and chipping camden then in badsey turn left again to go towards the littletons and cleeve prior then eventually stratford... we live about 5 mins away from Church lench as the crow flies....

Yes for sure, send me a pm nearer the time... there are a few pleasant hostelries nearby..my local is the Fish and Anchor at Offenham... incidentally, it has a camp/caravan site attached and is right on the banks of the Avon... serves a fine pint of Bombardier too !!

How pathetic is that?
Something like 90% of all goods carried around UK are moved by road from place to place, and 99% of all rail cargo has to get to the freight depots on a truck! Rail sytems are already totally overloaded - rail CAN NOT run more trains - they just do not have the capacity on existing tracks, all of which were built in the NINETEENTH century! There's not a significant bit of new rail track has been built in over a HUNDRED years.

Apart from that, who can afford rail? Check the cost of fares for two adults and three kids to go anywhere compared to the same trip by LandRover!

I have an account with TNT Parcels. They collect a parcel from me one day, and deliver it next day for sure. Post Office uses rail and takes a week to deliver, unless you pay extra for overnight in which case the PO sends the stuff by ........................... R-O-A-D !

Now start finding out how long it takes to get stuff delivered by rail. Where road haulage talks hours, rail talks days. No-one in their right mind would use rail for any perishable goods (like food) because the rats would have eaten all of it that wasn't too rotten long before it reached the customer! And at least 99% of EVERYTHING that moves by rail is on a truck TWICE, once at each end, to get delivered. The extra costs of all the handling (loading unloading storing etc) add up.

Get real. Britain is a trucker's dream country, and rail cannot compete in almost all situations of collection and delivery. There is nowhere on mainland Britain to which a parcel cannot be delivered TOMORROW, by road. Full Stop.

PS - don't get me started ....

You guys that keep on moaning about tin tents leave them alone, I have a large twin axle tin tent and me and mine love it so we don't really care what you lot think, I would ban horses on the roads as they are thick smelly animals.

Trevor.

Oi, leave them horses alone too the lot of you. If they're on a main road, they're in a trailer behind the disco - which makes them no worse than one of them sheds on wheels!

Yeah i agree back off and leave the horses alone, even if they are on roads it's only because 90% of them are inbetween bridleways!!!
Or in a trailer as already stated!

Pretty sad this is, that Radio 2 has got everybody at each others throats!!!!
