putting spare wheel on the bonnet

hi ive got a defender 110 csw 2003. i was wondering can you put the spare wheel on the bonnet

you can put it where ever you like. on the bonnet on the roof our even on an axle

what you mean to say theres a search function that will give you answers to qs and prevent you from asking mind numbing repetetive qs,

yes you can just take corners a bit slower or it will fall off

Yes you can. It requires a little bit of DIY mind - and you will be drilling / cutting holes in your bonnet. You can buy a kit like this Land Rover Defender 90/110 Spare Wheel Bonnet Mount Kit | eBay or alternatively there are bits that you can buy individually such as these search results for "bonnet wheel" | L. R. Series to make your own. If you're a nifty fabricator, you could make something up relatively easily or the other option, is to buy a second hand bonnet with the bracket already in place.

Just a minor detail, but didn't Land Rover stop mounting it on the bonnet after it was outlawed in 1998?

also you get charged with van rates if you go through a toll road

and anything above standard wheels make the bonnet to heavy and obscures the view
