Finally found one here in Italy. Has a lot of miles (153k) but my wife loves the interior 🤷‍♂️.
It is a 2011 diesel RRS 3.0 SDV6 SE.

What did I get myself into with this one? No warranty.

Also curious - how many miles can one really put on a Range Rover? (knowing good care is a consideration)

Italy ? That's a long way to go from the Scottish Highlands ....

You won't get that back in your hand luggage.
No, but the drive back will be very enjoyable (with suitable breakdown cover).

When I used to run adventure trips to North Africa, I booked ferries to Tunisia from Marseille - a thousand miles from my home in the east mids. It was possible to 'do France in a day' with a fuel & McSh!t stop in Reims. There was one trip where the French were on strike and we had to drive from Marseille to Genoa (250 miles) to catch the alternative ferry - with not much time to spare (~3hrs), even the Eyeties kept out of the way when there were eight LR's bearing down on them at 'catch the ferry' speeds...

UK not being in the EU might cause you problems importing it into the UK.

I drove a couple of days ago at 'catch ferry speed', with everything but a bus paying attention, after an accident ahead cost me over 2hrs. It was nice, considering I usually don't get above 45 - 50 on our roads. And even that is for a mile or two if lucky. Made it with 5 minutes to spare. Just enough time to let the dog have a pee.

I'm not taking it back to Scotland - I live here in Italy now. I had an '09 that I had to sell because I wasn't able to import it to Italy (I'm also American)

Planning on taking good care of this and taking it all around northern Italy, France, Austria, Switzerland...

If I don't do my own work on it (taking it to other garages when needed) is it worth it to get a Nanocom kit to have on hand?

Not sure if Nanocom covers that model, others will know but certainly I would never leave home in any RR without diagnostics.

Is the mileage you're quoting actually miles or kilometers? there's a big difference. There shouldn't be a problem as Finland and Italy are EU countries.
