But the question I would like answering is not whether you have swapped a winch for a heavier engine. Its what does the total thing weigh, complete with all the massive bits of stuff you have welded for it
Put it on a weighbridge and then compare to a completely standard vehicle.
Then remember that the dammed things didn't stop that well when they were new And certainly not if you were going down steep hills and the brakes heated up.
