24 landies driving round a single route in the lakes?

This has turned into one of them trips i'm not comfortable with the size of... Just my personal choice, each to their own n all that.

The potential for groups catching up with each other or meeting head to head halfway up Parkamoor or the Fox causing possible traffic jams is, in my opinion, just too great with the numbers involved..

move to the last resort list and wait for dropouts?

Parkamoor will have to be staggered a little more but it gives a good cake break at the bottom whilst waiting for the others! Plus it means we'll probably manage to be doing Grizedale at night that way ;)

:eek: I think its the cake breaks that are putting folk off :D, that and the gate descriptions :D:D

I bumped into a group a few weeks back and they had the map marked with which side the handle was on and which way the gate opened, I guess they didn't like stopping for long for gates!

Sorry but a gate is a gate just some are bigger than others some wood some metal they all open and close :D
As for there being to many going, it does not say any were in here that we are all going to be going down the same lane at the same time. Think that we all know the rules on this.
I for one like to see all types of land rovers doing lanes just shows what each one can do.

As there is more than one group with a leader in each I thought we were going to be doing different lanes for each group so its not causing one mahoosively long traffic jam? Or have I just gone round things the wrong way again :D

No thats one option :p depends who wants to attempt grizedale in reverse and work backwards though :D

Other option is to stagger it so we start one lane ahead of each other group wise then end up meeting in ambleside for a convoy back to windermere as theres a few lanes we could stagger it on in the same area so there'd be at least a half hour gap between groups

Yes thats sort of what I meant. Just so its not so we have 24 landys all doing the same one at the same time type of thing
