Looking good! I need to learn to weld

Cheers dude still got a fair bit to do yet. But hopefully should have the front end finished by the end of the week. Really want to get her rolling under her own steam asap specially for the v8 burble

As for the welding it's easy mate! Just buy a cheapish one, get a load of scrap and practice practice practice! Was how i learnt plus its good fun making stuff!

Bit more done this morning

Made up another panel for the battery trays.

Should give it a bit more support.

Then started cleaning up the bulkhead only done the o/s so far but heres a pic

Then doused the whole area with rust convertor ready for painting.

And last but not least started to fab up my homemade wing tops.

Another update

Inner wings are finished, well minus a couple a coats of black paint

So onto the pics of my shoddy welding!

And that's as far as i got cos its now time to get ready to go to a beer festival!

Now comes the fun part! Trying to find all the bits that bolted onto the front end

Thanks the front end should now stand the test of time and a battering off road.

Headlight boxes and the support strut are from yrm the rest i fab'd myself which took a while but i had loads of offcuts lying around so thought i may aswell use it
