I have a 04 discovery td5 since buying it i noticed it was lacking in power it would surge in about 2000/2500 then when changing gear would take a while to get going. I have give it full service egr bypass removed cat and center box wound actuator a few turns. All made improvements but still something wasn't right throttle response was sluggish like it was holding back. I unplugged maf sensor it was like new car it would even pull in 5th at 30mph. I bought a new 1 fitted it now it's worse I put my foot down while drivin and now it holds back mid range as in big judder. But fitting the new maf does feel to have made some improvements in places but it never. Cleaned map sensor tried unplugging it. Now I'm stuck and sick of spending money the joys of owning land rovers

As ratty !

Them cheap maf's off e-blag don't work !!

And maf's,map's,egr's,b/m flywheels etc problems are not unique to Land Rovers- all cars have em now!

Once had a Audi A6 that ruined me and sent me to HELL and back with all the fecking electronic problems I had with the tw@tting thing !
