Posting on other Land Rover forums

Hoping someone can keep me right on this one.

Is there any protocol regarding what might be called 'double posting' here on LandyZone ? i.e. would it be considered 'bad form' to transfer a post I already have on here to one of the other Land Rover forums or is this quite acceptable practice ?

Reasons for considering doing so will be explained if requested.

You can post whatever you like wherever you like. The only reason anyone's likely to get upset is if you do it often in a way that advertises another forum.

The same goes for linking between forums. Usually not an issue unless it's regular and begins to look like spam

Been/am a member of other LR for a under several aliases. This is the only one that is thriving at the moment. Most of the others rely on one or two stalwarts to keep them alive. This is the best.

There's a lot of Facebook Land Rover groups popping up at the moment, as I'm already on Facebook it already integrates these posts onto my news feed, and admittedly from time to time I browse those pages and ignore this forum.....

If the LZ Facebook was more frequently used, and/or posts could be updated to the LZ page that would be good....

Why? Facebook is **** compared to this forum and is full of sensitive fannys who can't handle the sort of banter that you get on here. If this forum moved to Facebook i wouldn't hesitate to leave and if anything I wish Facebook was more like LZ

Good man. I'm on it but not for the social aspect, only so I can stay involved in volunteering and rescue as a lot of correspondence and passage of info takes place on it

LZ does have a FB page already. I was suggesting moving the forum to Facebook, but perhaps like a LZ Live feed on the LZ page, so it appears in your newsfeed, you could then click the link to take you to the post on LandyZone.co.uk

Tbh I wouldn't want what I post on here to be on my Facebook page, I like that LZ is my own private place and what I say/read on here is not anybody's business but my own and other LZ members.
