what is the weight load on them things? And the idea of have to climb a ladder to take a morning **** before coffee:eek:

There quite a bit i think, there mainly held onto the roof rips with unistrut which is very strong.

You would have to be pretty big to bend it, you can get roof tents for four people!

Its poking good. got any close up pictures? :)

Let me know if you want to part with your old hood and stick set. ;)

Poking!!! WTF!

I ment looking.

Hanging on to hood as thinking I may start another project Landy :D

Ooh do tell. what you got in mind?

Lucky I just mentally inserted the 'looking' ;)
I need to save funds for a project, tis just a pipe dream at the mo, but Rosie would be converted back to how she was and the roof tent would go on t'other :)

Keep meaning to get a list together of the seasonal VTRO's down that way, got most the south side of the Plains TRO's mapped. The council are pretty sorted and don't go overboard panicing about evey puddle and seem to have a long term plan that doesn't involve shutting everything down :)

I'm not sure there is a plan, some lanes looked quite solid and even gravel but had a TRO on and yet some quite technical lanes were open.

But as Poppy said, there are tonnes of SSSI and heritage sites around.

Yeah I think the main routes to and between SSSI's make a difference. Some lovely lanes around the edge and down off the Plains....makes for a helluva wiggly route though and the seasonals can be a proper pain there involving miles of tarmac detor.

Thinking of a little christmas/new year excursion...... :)

Lovely pics Pops/FK , glad to see you've wrestled with , and mastered , the roof tent ..:D You couldn't have had two more different days of weather by the looks.:)

Far from mastered! Lol can't get the blummin thing up on my own as its so heavy! I just end up dangling of the Landy
But I have a cunning plan for that!
And it's currently sopping wet as it was exceedingly rainy overnight and I really need some sun and a day off to dry it out! So much to do!
