Maybe he's too unfit for a Tirfor? :D

I'll stress again, I always carry a tirfor. I hope I never have to use the fooking thing, but I always carry it!

Do what I do Forget to take the handle!! That way if ya need it yu can get out of having to use it by saying "oh fook I forgot the handle, Oh well I guess we'll have to use your winch afterall" :D

Though to be fair when I rolled the 90 in cornwall We'd have been ****ed without Trewy's winch and my Tirfor.

it works just fine but ive only used in the usual p+p situation

just prefer the warn or superwinch i know they are up to job and never let me down before

I've got a Superwinch husky on my RR.

Its slow, but it will pull a house down and is very very well made. Only down side is that I had to have a bumper made, as the fitment is different to every other winch out there!!

I have a bow motor to fit over Christmas, should speed things up a touch!

Got a pair of 4 tonne hand pullers with decent length of aircraft cable. As I dont go extreme for now plenty good enough for getting to at least a grippy area or back out of a ditch hopefully

Good winch every time.

But I am using a budget Cta 12000 not let me down yet.

And I'm still looking for a warn 8274 though
