serious question but if i were to break my 110 for spares, how much of the chassis, axles, engine etc would have to go as one in order for to be legit to sell.

I was thinking chassis, axles, bulkhead and engine maybe with the wings? as a rolling chassis?

correct me if im wrong

ive been offered another 110 csw ready to go so keen to get as much as poss for what i have

Just out of interest if you had say a s2 88 and used 90 chassis along with front end and tub then technically there all replaceable parts and you are just fitting uprated parts as it where so completely legit and legal am i correct ?

The identity of a landrover is associated with the chassis, not the tub or body panels so You would have to register it as per the ID of the 90 chassis.

If it's a complete bitsa of 90 and s2 88 parts then it may need a Q plate (I am less clear on this)

No you can't make your 90 tax exempt would be the other way of answering your question :D

that clears that up then I do know a lot of landy's that are tax exempt but are 90% defender. I'm personally not bothering, one I have a 110 and 2 I really cant be bothered with the hassle for the sake of £120 every 6 months.
