Did take a fair amount of concentration on both those tracks. I found the second one harder and actually more alarming than the steps.
But only after Craig had told me how not to be dragged down the steps by my low box. I've only done tracks where the gears do all the work before
Not sure what's meant there? Is this a different technique?
I've just been reading again, loved that weekend so much ..

I was always told let diff lock low first do all the work on descents take feet away let low box do breaking, this is not the approach for rock steps lol I learnt that one
I enjoyed it too soooo I'm just looking into sorting another trip. Won't be till next year as I've got loads if trips planned for this year

Good fun learning new stuff though .. I'd hate to think I know it all, there's so much I haven't done, like sand driving ... maybe we'll get a trip up to Morocco .. we'll all be newbies!

Heheh, yeah I've done beach driving, in fact we competed in Mablethorpe beach races a few times many years ago, I meant dunes, deserts that sort of thing .. full-on 'overland' safari type driving, living for weeks out of the vehicle, I mean ..
Can't see us doing it any time soon though.
