Acethey are brilliant motors, mines a 2.5 24v, goes well in the e30 shell.:D E34 540i is an awesome motor.

Yeah I have had it mapped to 330 bhp and 340 ftlbs, it is very quick and uses about half the fuel of the RRC too!

The m60 4.0 v8 is so much tougher than the m62 4.4 and the same or better power (depending if tuned or not) shame it was the 4.4 landrover decided to use  typical

Sounds a lot of fun. Thats M5 power.

Ah right, I cant say I know much about the V8's in them. WOuld be good to have one in a Range Rover Classic.

That is exactly my plan when the time and pennies are available, I will buy a good used engine and do what fanatic is planning with his lexus engine:D:D

Had lots of snow here in Derby and i would love to put photos on of my rangy enjoying the snow but she has let me down again so now im driving my nissan terrano

OK, enough chit chat and BMW talk (although I do love my BMW too!!), more pics of RR's in the snow please! There's still barely any here, just a light dusting, but I did go down the very frozen/slippy lane to the yard last night to see how it coped with steep frozen offroad decents - and the answer is very well!!

a told ya posh RR boys don't leave the house when it's cold, much prefer boasting about my BMW being bigger than yours, or using that old "my RR is broken (again) excuse - am quite happy to post a few more 110 images up just to give this thread some pictorial content if yer still struggling later

;)

you coulda been driving a Transit !

I know, it's pathetic - the rest of the UK is under 12 foot of snow (apparently) and that's all we got! Was very slippy, but hardly what I was hoping for ;-)

By all means post a Defender pic, but just the one I reckon (to encourage the RR boys!!) - make it a good 'un!!

Would love a pic or a Range Rover Sport up to its axles in snow, but I don't see it happening somehow!! :(

Not the rangie for obvious reasons!!!!

But you think the BMWs are difficult in the snow, (and I agree I have had a few).

Try getting a 240bhp, 820kg MX5 turbo on low profile track tires to go in a straight line.

FYI - MRS took the pic as the thought I was mad, but there was no way I was putting in in the garage covered in road salt.

OK, an MX5 really doesnt count! That is infinitely worst than a Defender!

Come on people, pics of Range Rovers in the snow - doesnt matter if it's a Classic, P38, L322 or Sport (yeah, right!!) - I'll even open it up to previous years' if that helps! Surely with snow covering 70% of the country someone must be driving in it?
