Petrol in my td4 :/

Hey quick on just put £2 petrol in my fl mk1 td4 then realised **** lol so put £25 worth of diesel in should be fine shouldn't it diluted and all that anyone had same issue

It'll be fine bit if you are worried, bung 250ml of 2 stroke oil in a tank as well. It will help lubrication of the HP fuel pump.

Used to be able to get away with something like 40% petrol in diesel - but in the modern ones petrol kills the pumps and injectors.

£2 will probably give you the same effect as if you'd put redex in.

i have used petrol before in my 300tdi,it doesnt
half clean some muck out of the injectors,as said
it will be sound.

that's what we used to do in the old days in winter to stop the diesel from freezing but now it has additives.
