Hi, I am thinking about getting a Penman Trailer but I only have a 7pin socket. Not sure whats the best way to sort this problem. Also is it a 24volt on the Penman Trailers?

Do I rewire it to a 7pin or install and 12pin on the landy. Dont really wanna do that. Or is there an adapter which work well?

Any ideas

The bulbs on a penman will be 24v, they will need to match towing vehicle so swap to suit.
You can either rewire the penman to a civvy socket (7 or 13 pin) or make yourself an adaptor. I think people do sell adaptors but they aren’t cheap or common market items. You could also install a 12 pin nato socket in addition to your 7 pin one.

If I was yo rewire the light to a 7 pin socket is there any extra step to deal with since its 24 volt or can I just match each one to the right colour?

The only thing that makes the trailer 24v is the bulbs that it is fitted with, to change to 12v just swap the bulbs over.

If you are removing The nato plug would be willing to part with it? Mine could do with replacing tbh
