Pendine Sands

I'm heading off to Pembrokeshire this weekend and fancied passing along Pendine beach... give the dog a run and possibly check out the Museum of Speed...

Googled... but nothing up to date on access to/from the beach for vehicles... if there's any up to date knowledge out there, I'd appreciate the heads up?

Hope to be in the area by 2pm on Saturday, if anyone want to join up?

Last time i was up there you couldnt get on in vehicles.just the ice cream van was allowed.but give it a try you never no.

Well I went down for a look on saturday, but they'd just marked out a 2-300m stretch for parking... you're no longer allowed to drive and park up where you like...

Shame, it could have been like Fraser Island/Rainbow Beach in Oz where it's an approved highway, but with no speed limit... just common sense - the washouts catch a few!!

Oh I forgot... we're in the EU... not allowed to think for ourselves :-(
