I said to our gert this is just like bloody child birth seeing my old girl trussed up with strangers poking around inside in and after a bloody late wait you finally get a great baby back, shes running sweet as a nut now im really chuffed.
 
valve stem cap went replaced all of them now when got it back together the tappet screw adjuster broke. got the front prop off as it was F.U.B.A.R got new one but got to go back guess what it was a ****part one not my choice put all they had in few other little bits nearly there,dont you just love landrovers
 
Hi, can't be bothered to read 25 pages of posts - but are you guys still intending to be out this weekend?

I'll be out laning in the Peaks on Sat with my local landie club... is it possible to have a copy of your route - just be interested to see if we are likely to crash into each other at any point... (our route is all planned and sorted, etc. we have no intention of high-jacking onto the back of this or anything - i know about responsible group sizes and laning and a like!)

If someone can email it to me: mikedowson (at) gmail (dot) com it would be appreciated

We actually initially ran this route a few months ago - but due to the snow it eventually got called off early afternoon after we had 2 landies and a fake 4x4 in a ditch we couldn't see cus of the snow.

Sorry matey but im not emailing out any routes at the moment as we have a choice of about 5 so if we crash into you then im sorry but i wont know the fixed route until fri night in the pub.
why dont you email me yours and then we can try and avoid you, pm me if you want my email addy.

well we have got a basic idea just needs fine tuning the beer will help:D

you might have to save me some scran as i may not be there until a little later, i've got some footings to get in before setting off, but if you greedy lot have wolfed it then i'll bring some gear with me:)
