After replacing the window regulators in both front doors (which seemed easy at the time), the passenger door is locked and won't open. I've had the door card off and found that one end of the cable which connects the interior door handle to the latch is disconnected. The lock doesn't respond to manually pulling on the button but did open once when I changed the fuse for the central locking system. This only happened once and may have been a complete coincidence but it hasn't happened since.
When it did operate, everything sounded healthy in terms of the motor etc.. I wonder whether I may have damaged a wire putting in the new window regulators.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated
thanks,

Big Rob.

so has it reblown the fuse?
if it worked all ok before then its possible you have caught a wire, is the glass catching any wires during up and down movement?
think the harness runs just below where the regulator motor bolts to the door panel , check you have not trapped the harness there.

Hi Rob if after advice from LR , then sounds ta myself that yer door solenoid is kaput or intermittent, some times the doors suffer from sticktion a good blast of wd40 will normally sort this out, best oh luck. . .:)

There's a few posts on here now about central locking going all perculiar. Could this be another Land Rover bug come to light? I hope not, the list is far too long all ready :D
