Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone has a handy video guide on replacing the PAS pump on a disco 2 TD5?

I can only find V8's on youtube and wondered on a scale of 1-5 bananas how tricky this?

It holds the fluid when topped and it's stationary but when i drive it it makes a whirly noise and then drips everywhere. Hoping it was just the o-ring but guess it's the pump too. Even if i replace the pump i'll replace the o-ring and give it a good clean while i am there also.

Yeah, mine was just leaking on the reservoir to pump hose, and an easy fix, but just a tiny pinhole, only visible when fluid leaked from it.
 
Hi, Replaced the pump on my TD5. Not difficult just basic "spannering". In fact the hardest part was getting the pump to mesh with the water pump on refitting. The O ring will be fitted on the new pump as it comes with the metal pipe attached.
