:D You did enjoy last nights laning

I have looked at the Tong site. The only thing they insist on is that you know how to do a failed hill climb.

I haven't done one of these yet either. We need to find a hill to practice these on, perhaps the next laning trip :D

Hopefully I will be going on the recovery and other stuff weekend too so am hoping to learn some stuff then . I have looked at the parkwood website and was a bit worried they might not let me in:confused:

Me too :D:D

That's good to know..the web site makes them sound really strict about this stuff!

Well... It's a bit of both really.

They are the strictest site in the northwest and the dearest, but it pays off because they have the best reputation which requires upkeep.

You are always guaranteed an expensive selection of vehicles at Parkwood where owners are happy to take them knowing they won't be crashed into by some unlicensed idiot in a scrap Vitara.

Not that I have anything against Vitaras mind, I used to have a Fatboy myself :)

Regards hill climbs and other off road driving, I for one would be happy to don my best Vince Cobley persona and lend someone an hour for some tuition on the day.

Having kinda been there and got the T shirt muddy at off road sites now, it's much more rewarding to help/teach somebody new how to do it.

This is the idea behind Paul's recovery day of course, but the same applies.

:)
