got some new tyres on today ready for tmoz.. little wider and a little bigger... dont think i need to adjust anythin... though i may need to cut back of rear wheel arch.... just some cheap a/t's...

couldnt find any 225/75's anywhere that were a decent price or used ones..... only really needed one.. other 3 were ok... but i'd a put a pair on anyway..

new ones look ok... i'll stick the old ones on fleabay..

sory dint get there today... got tyres sorted though...

was a bit exciting... doofus was tryin to seal bead with high pressure and not payin attention... he was quite surprised when tyre exploded.... split the side wall from bead to tread... dint alf go with a pop.... he sh1t himself.....
 
I'm aiming for 9.30.
Tho I will be doin a quick ATF change before setting off, to see if it helps with the stumbling idle speed in low range....if that doesnt work I'll just be cranking up the idle speed a bit!
 
don't bother changing the oil, will have a look at it tomorrow. not saying i'll fix it but willl have a look.
 
It really needs doin as I suspect its well past doin...will see if I can be bothered to change before setting off. see you there. cheers
 
top day,tried getting you on cb joe,entertaining stuff getting stuck in deep part of lake really early on,good bit of swimming...the landy drove great all day,but on way home lots of noise out of the lt77 gearbox,managed to limp it home,god knows whats gone in it...sumat else to fix as ever...
 
Sorry I didn't meet up with ya, but managed to meet up with others. Top day.....started off a bit ropey (I'd not screwed down the coolant cap, so had to stop on hard shoulder of M62), and finished a bit ropey (rad full of clay mud, engine got rather warm and had to stop again on the M62 before any damage was done!)....
But other than that it wasn't bad at all!

joe, didn't get proper chance for a chat, how did it go in the water? it was rammed today,not seen it that busy for a while, too busy, everywhere you wanted to go had somebody stuck.

It was faultless through water.....mind I didn't do any really deep stuff (the muddy tide mark was up to top of headlights). Thinking the deepest it went was about 3/4 up the wheels, so nowt extreme....
I can live with that;)

Yeah, was seriously busy in parts, tho we spent more time down by the back fence n woods where numbers were thinned out a bit.
Got fed up a few times waitin for motors gettin stuck on roadies (thought it says on their website and paperwork on the day not to do most routes on them?!)...tho resisted papping the horn (others didn't by the sounds of it):eek:

It was a good day tho. The best day as I've tested the grip limit today.. with a bit of luck mate Rob will upload his short films of me doin one of the better black routes, with some nice dents/battle scars achieved:D. And cheers to whoever it was who gave me a winch when I got stuck at 45 degrees to a tree:doh:.....ah well, I picked up some experience today which is a bonus:cool:

Soz we couldn't stick around later on...I was clock watchin, and wanted to get in some more drivin before we headed home
