I stuck a small oil filled radiator in mine with windows ajar, and it steamed up like crazy....n mine wasn't even with wet seats!....helps dry out leccy bits n bobs tho:eek:

Nunny, ya need some of those plastic seats like they have in pedlos or at schools for when ya go swimmin again mate!;)
ha ha,nice 1,top idea

Take the seats out and leave em in the kitchen? Lol :D

Which reminds. i still got a nice RRC sorrell colour drivers seat in the dinning room. It was gonna be the replacement to the worn one in the daily driver....must get round to doin it and slinging the worn one out:doh:

Hi.
This is my first time, i've just bought L322. I live in Hertfordhire. Can anybody tell me where the nearest off road centre is. I'd like to go and do a reacky first then maybe try and take the plunge.
Ta Tony

Tony, if you're not too keen on scratching your range rover to ****, I'd recommend some kind of quarry pay and play than a forest type, because the quarries tend to be wide open space. A forest with lots of tight trees will soon make a right royal mess of your l322 :D

good recomendation,,,though i did manage to roll my 90 at cowmn quarry, smashed every panel to bits,,,their mite not be trees scuffing paint but their are plenty sharp rocks etc, never a dull moment when ime around,,what with that and then getting stuck in lake at parkwood,if ya off roading you gota expect the wurst as out can happen at any time,,think i wil be getting a roll cage on mine soon as can afford ,any recomendations think full external as you can rest it on side of cage sometimes, withot smashing side of landy to bits..quarry would be better tough as noisy says, you decide what you think ya capable of,and their are more open spaces, than say parkwood,if you dont know the place well you could set off on a run ,not knowing what lies further down and get bashd up pretty good, great entertainment,ha ha,

Ditto that about Cowm, which I guess applies to the more open sites with less trees/foliage etc. The 'easy' route shouldnt be none damaging, and some of the more challenging bits can be viewed before you commit your truck to anything.
If in doubt find someone with a similar vehicle and follow it! I've seen a couple of newer Range Rovers at Cowm inc L322 and similar vehicles, and seen them going home without stuff hanging off!....so it can be done!

been let down with the defender lt 77 gearbox,so mite be off the road for longer as bit skint and that was a good deal .not the off road i was hoping for, typical,so looking like al miss parkwood and the rest for sometime now..

nice 1 ,cheers nick the one on ebay wouldnt do as mines a disco 200tdi ,but the gearbox isnt disco ,its smaller bell housing,if i fit a disco one it would move the position of the levers, been told between 5 hr and 8 to change box,the crossmembers to come out in order to get the bludy thing out pal...cheers for offer of a lift too,
