removed the timing cover wading plug tonight, after getting stuck in lake, quite a bit of muddy water in their, ile check the other wading plug tomoz, guessing an engine oil change is prob best too just incase out managed to get in ,shall check the diff oil and prob change that,i do have a full wading kit on inc timing cover

The front swivel joints on my RRC got a load of muddy water in them after Cowm. Not checked them since sunday's outing, but would almost expect some to be in there again. Weird how they dont look to be leaking but water gets in?
I've refrained from using the one shot stuff as it'll just make the job of draining them out a pain, but I have just bought some Lucas hub oil, which the blurb says is better than gear oil...certainly looks a little bit thicker...will have to see

I just put some Lucas pose steering stop leak in. Very sticky and thick, and is dyed red, but has that bluey goldy look like gear oil and it bloody smells like gear oil. I bet its the same stuff :D

dont no mate depends wat sliders cost me

i'd prefer sliders but mrs is wanting me to keep it as original as possible..

but she just watched wheeler dealers do that naff disco, and decided she liked the look of the front... so may be ditchin a bar and valance and getting a steering guard...

only a short step to sliders from there...
