where did you get your paints from and what was your process? thats the colour i wanted my landy originally but it looked quite hard

The thing is spraying out side in the open isn't likely to get a good result. Yes there are people who have got good results doing it, and people win the lottory too. It's a bit hit and miss, using some form of shelter massively swings the odds in your favour and the results are more likely to be a lot better. Now at this point you are probably thinking "yeah but it's a Defender, doesn't need to be show room finish" yeah fair enough, so if you're not going to take some steps to try improve the results then just do it with a roller.

yeah im definatley going to get a gazebo i think my landy looks a bit crap from a rattle can job so i do want a really nice job

I'm painting mine in the summer after I fix my doors. I'll be borrowing my mates workshop for the job. Don't know if you plan on using a compressor like me, but if you do outside is not really a option unless your neighbours want there's covered in paint dust.

I wanted to paint mine orange but the wife is insisting on Lime green! The battle comenses!

Too cold to paint outside at the min just sprayed alloys black they went bloomy doesnt matter anyway i prefer them satin.

im going to do it in the alley out the back of mine i think with tarps up to stop paint
my garage is at the end so no through way or obstructing!
little fan to keep the air flowing.
and before and remarks, my landy will NOT fit in the garage! lol :p
