Starting to consider green
Red is nice but must be the right shade.
your not painting it grey because everything is grey and instead are considering painting it the colour that every land rover since the dawn of land rover has been painted?
The right shade is Masai red, end of discussion. Every other shade land rover every used was a poor imitation of the original!

I will also this opportunity to say that I did not choose masai red as a colour, both my vehicles happened to be that colour originally, were bought because they were the right price at the right time, an when rebuilding I just repainted them in the correct original colour. However that does not stop it being the correct shade of red for a land rover, mainly because it is the shade of red mine are, and mine are the best land rovers out there because they are mine!
Only because it is a series 1. It is a 1957 86" and belongs to a friend, if I could afford one I would have one as well!I think the Series One behind the Red Series 3 in the second pic is better than yours.
And it is painted Bronze Green, the best colour for Land Rovers!
Is this the right green?? Can’t go metallic I am told by bodywork guy. Only 2 pack
I like Series Ones, but they are overpriced now.Only because it is a series 1. It is a 1957 86" and belongs to a friend, if I could afford one I would have one as well!
If you are going orange I would not be going metallic if it is. But also if you are going orange surely it should be the G4 orange on a defender. Is that Tangiers orange? Is phoenix orange metallic?
What colour did you pqint it in the end ??
pic please ..
