I have a 1999 p38 4.0 petrol,the battery died as not used it for a few weeks took it off to charge and fired up no problem when refitted. The windows will now only work if i keep the switch pressed and the display is saying windows and sunroof not set. any help would be appreciated. Thanks Walt.
 
Need to reset the windows....

Simples....

With all windows closed and engine running, one window at a time, open the window fully and at the bottom hold for a second then all the way up, keep your finger on the button until window set is displayed,,, continue with the other windows and sunfroof....

Search the threads for Rave download. Enhances the joy of finding out the million and one things that can go wrong. (and essential in putting them right) I think the Owners Manual is there too.
