Well I might as well start a repair thread...

after the mrs stoved it through a 2ft thick solid stone wall the front end needs a bit of work!

She is demanding we sell it as she is scared to get in it, which I have flatly refused as I really like it! She doesnt get that it saved her from a serious injury that probably would have occurred had she been in a "lesser" vehicle.

Anyway!

I picked up a colour coded bonnet, slam panel, wings and replacement headlight with the trim piece and window wiper which had all been wiped out in the smash for the princely sum of £120 which I was pretty pleased with. Nice chap with a garage down in birmingham is breaking on if anyone is interested.

I also picked up a replacement upper tailgate as it had the rear window tinted for £30. Cheaper and less hassle than doing it myself! and its a simple bolt on affair.

Just waiting for the wind to die down before I start replacing bits as the bonnet and tailgate are like sails!

I tried to replace the indicators that had been smashed and got one side in fine, but the passenger side (which seems to have had the bigger impact) refused as theres some bent bits to sort out.

pics to follow as we go.

other bits to sort whilst I am at it are its tendency to swerve right when jumping over a humpback bridge near me (nearly put me in the ditch!) and the rear brakes need replacing as only half the disc surface seems to be being contacted.

Oh and the manifold leak :)
