help, my rangie had to be trailered home this afternoon, not happy:mad:. temp gage went into the red and you could hear the coolant bubbling . we checked the oil filler cap for signs of a blown gasket, but nothing shown. any idears? thanks

which engine and check rad hot all the way across to show that all of rad is actually cooling ,thermostat ,and if petrol hope block isnt cracked behind one of the liners

i have checked all the belts there all fine , the water was full to propper mark with water and coolant. its the 4.0 with a gas con, will check the rad tom, where do i check the liners cheers lads

you cant easily check for cracked block but gives similar symptoms to head gasket ie over pressurising but the recent ones ive had have been poor rads and thermostats in that rad is only colling over a small area of whole rad

ok nice 1 for that better start looking her over in the morning, git to find the problem as not getting rid in a hurry cheers
