So, I came across this stunning example of a multimedia upgrade on a US based forum. Ive tried to contact the owner to try get a 3D printed part that he produced but no joy so far. So Landyzone fans. Is there a way we can get together and recreate this?

That is exactly what I do not want in my car, I have no need of a glowing computer screen. To me that is not an upgrade, you have to take your eyes off the road to manipulate the touch screen, I can operate the radio without looking down. The fact that it is now impossible to buy a car that is not a mobile play station is one of the reasons I will keep my P38 until it's use is no longer permitted.

I think there is room in the market for such product. Good luck getting it printed over here. Its not for me for the same reasons @Datatek says, however, if a 3d printed standard stereo surround could be made to replace the typically busted oem unit that would be grand.

Yaaa well happy new year and fy too. I think it's great to bring a vehicle up to new standards w/o suction cups all over the windshield and holes drilled all over the dash. This install would absolutely pass as OEM were it not for the big "Pioneer" logo. And wtf is wrong with someone enjoying the best of all worlds? The last live axle RR with modern amenities? I will NOT f-ing live w/o new tech in my life. Congrats on being the grumpy old town codger.

When I un-mothball my P38, it will receive an M57 with a ZF 8spd. That all once I finish my L322. I'm stillbusy with my L663 D250 at the moment, tho. :p

Hat's off to ya mate! Love your work!!!

Well golly, Mr. Cheerful McTechie. It's a shame you don't post more often.

And if you're more comfortable eloquently conversing with F-bombs, head over to "Anything Goes". I'm sure you will be well received.

Meanwhile, stay busy for a few more years.

I used to design & manufacture computer hardware, I want a functioning car not a mobile play station, plus I like to keep what are potentially classic cars original. Each to their own, but to me you are just fecking up a good car.
