Hi Guys.

One of the metal brake pipes going from front to back has reptured.

Looking at the rest of them, I think they all should be replaced.

Has anyone any idea how long this job should take and if there is anyone to recommmend in the warwickshire area?

Thanks

job is dead easy to do your self can buy sealy flaring tool for 25 quid . brake pipe and connectors fairly cheap and about 1 hour 30 per pipe to fit

Mine failed mot on corroded front to rear pipes. Whats the best way to do them? As it looked a pig,to get across the rear suspension and down the length of car?

I put a joint in the long one that goes over the back axle so that the joint ended up tucked under the front of the rear RH wheel well. Job was made much easier.
I had a set of copper pipes made up by Automec. They are good quality.
You also need to buy the pipe bending tool.

job done.
1 and 1/2 hrs per pipe.
the transmission cooler has popped now, so still on my back!

Mine has just failed with the same problem... the front to rear brake lines that is. The MoT guy said access looked restricted because of a "tank" getting in the way... EAS or ABS I guess. This doesn't seem to have bothered you... any idea what he was on about? I haven't gone under for a look but I'm sure you guys know what he's on about.

If the front to rear has gone then check the pipe that crosses behind the fuel tank, odd's on it will be in a bad condition if it hasn't been replaced in the past:)
