P38 Ignition Coil Hell

I am trying to replace my ignition coils on my P38 4.6 (Thor Engine) but as the car has been converted to LPG I cannot get the coils and bracket attachment out from behind the engine, dismantled the whole lot before realising I could not get the things out.... (difficult enough to get at anyway....) The only thing that I can think of is to dismantle the coils from the bracket and see if i can get them out individually........Has any one else had this problem?:doh:
