p38 cold heating on tick over

dont panic it could just be getting excess air out of the system let it cool first then check it

i was thinking it may be air as from what i have read these p38,s are prone for air it carnt be nothing major as it runs flawlessley and always has done since i done the head gaskets thanks alot

do the cap up very tight, it may be faulty but you have to really tighten em anyway apparently!

i think i will go and get a new one just incase for what they cost not the end of the earth just it does sound like a hissing noise going in from it when hot

really it shouldnt let any in or out except for the designed overflow pipe

thats what i thought its a pressurised system so should be air tight but i def can hear a slight hissing and bubbleing with my ear close to it
