overpriced discos

D2 money possibly but there will be those who want a D1 with its 300Tdi engine.
Wonder what price would be asked for a similarly specced Defender 90?

To be fair I had a magazine in my hand today that lists disco 1s top price as £4k (ish?) I just thought with 170k on it, its very steep. But then I am a tight git and as such bought a basket case and am bitter and twisted as a result. Im damaged and think all rrc and discos are rotten

Been there myself, but can't bring myself to the same conclusions as you. I suppose that it is a case of knowledge is power, after my marathon rwbuild I know exactly what to look for and know how to use my feet to walk away.

Yeah ive bought a couple of rusty pieces of crap of late I actually fantasise about knocking the bloke who sold me my disco's teeth out quite often. But I'll just settlefor karma I reckon.

I drove by the yard where the girl who sold me Rusty works, let her sit in and took her for a short spin, it was such a fantastic feeling, switching on the ventilation fan and it working, telling her to wind down the passenger window and it not being propped up by a bit of broom handle, the nice shiny un-burned interior, all that solid metal, and tyres with actual tread, propper LR alloys and 5 of them too, even a correct matching size spare.

She went on to tell me how she missed the Discovery, I went on to tell her that she could buy it back for 10 grand
