still on the feckin wiring...just binding up the new looms takes soooooo long!

discoverde why windscreen wipers where bust on unrestored car...as i watched motor start to smolder..hmmmmm..wiper mechanism seized solid..bugger,but i have another,so can rebuild...another job to do tomorrow...

hope to have all electrics sorted by tomorrow eve,assuming all the security parts turn up..
 
Looking good. You wiring in any creature comforts other than the seats?

If you have no joy with the wipers let me know by Sunday and I will send you the bits you need out of the 88, I know they work.
 
thanks but sorted now...had a spare one..though now the parking has packed up, so thats coming out again..glad the scuttle panel aint on yet!

today..MORE wiring!

auxilary wiring looms in.(for future use,cable runs from cabin to engine bay)
auxilary fuse box in..due to early range roverr fusing being ****e!!
HID lights in! nice and bright!
alternatorS wired up and in..
starter crt working.
windscreen wipers sorted (ish)
lighting crts done.
flashers not working,but discovered that both flaher units are fubar!!
fused power for lecky seats and sunroof in.

then clutch sorted!!new bigger bore m/c installed and bleed..working clutch now i hope, atleast it feels right now..

filled the holes in dash with glow plug and auxilary alternator light and manual plug switch.

going for rear mini classic buckets in rear..keeping oe rear seat incase i change my mind..but picking up 3 buckets tonight..
just hope they fit..lol..

just balancing on box and bag of rags..but nice i thinks..

rear view camera...its reversing over tvr's below tailgate level thats the issue..lol..

new £4 door locks turned up..they genuine land rover..kool

still on wiring...no photos today as doing secret stuff...but almost done,seats sunroof wired in and various secret stuff installed and working..just the finishing off to do...

takes so long making looms..!!
 
still on wiring....not one of the dash or auxilary dial bulbs worked..!!all blown..

dash going back together,onto tank etc tomorrow..

replyed too..

this eve i decided enough wiring..just about all done anyway..so time to start exhaust manifolds,cross over pipe and turbo setup...

got one manifold kinda together..pics will explain...

and it was..no need to fab it up on the engine..made a jig using manifold and fabed up from there..







started on turbo flange.( out of abit of 10mm scrap).thinking i should have bought one..

lol yeah but not it distance to collector lol. I am taking the **** though cos I wouldnt be making fanimoulds- you are too keen for an old bloke :p
