you have the right grab handle, hows that for positive? :p

pretty sure the doors seals are more rounded, not that it matters as the later ones are better mate

no they are gen oldies, but that is an interesting idea..i have a few good new ones, but want to keep the suffix a quarter light rubbers as they in surprisingly good nick..ie still soft!
i will look into cutting a couple up..

though i have found on ebay and at low cost buildersetc window rubber sold by the m..

poped into work..

Nice build thread, makes a great read. That's going to be a lovely classic when finished!

Unless you've got another idea it's gonna have to be Plate, 6mm will do & last if it's done right
I take it you don't have access to a CNC or a Waterjet so your looking at cutting it out of Plate with a Plasma, either or, it's still gonna have to be Plate.
I could be wrong, but It's not going to be easy & after all what else are you going to Weld Steel pipe to.
Been following this Fred right from the start (along with Stu's), very interesting & all the best to both of you, ti's an inspiration, A tell thee.

As Rollo said, plasma is best. Failing that send a message to Dr_evil, think he works at a uni and has all the top toys to play with in there metal shop.

Adapter plate looks good be mot next :D

our laser cutter isn't installed yet, guillotine, plasma and CNC milling machines is all we have although you could get a nice cut on a manual milling machine using that 6mm plate with no need for finishing after

oh and for CNC I hate writing programs

offered adapter up to gearbox..fits good..

one problem..chevy clutch fork hits bukhead..bugger..so now to work out that..

rear bumper etch primed,painted silver..

what you mean...??please explain

as is the fork is far too long..and cant cut it....cos then there would be nowhere to connect to slave cylinder..(which unlike rangie is mounted externally engine side of bellhousing..)

no....its too long..ie the bit that sticks out bellhousing would be 3 inches into bulkhead/footwell..i aint chopping body..so i guess its move fork around,so prehaps operated from below engine rather than on engine side....if you follow??
