Bought my first Range Rover on wednesday from a gent who had given up his p38 2.5diesel, the poor guy newer got the air out of the radiator after a heaterhose burst. It`s been sitting 1.5 years and he wanted it gone fairly cheap, £1000. It had plates on and the eu-test is still a half year out. I`ve never been in a RR before, so I traveled 500km to drive it home, must say I had some nerves when I got to the car armed with a flathead screwdriver and topped of lungs(did I just see you nod?) I huffed and I puffed and drove it home
Very good interior, faded green paint and shoddy transfercase i believe. Everything else works(well, exept a doorlock of course). So on my way to the scrapyard today to find some rims(those star hurricane ones) I stumbold upon another p38 4.6 that the scrapowner at one point was going to restore. So now I have 2(wife of course is very pleased, again)
