Just joined the forum today and Mike suggested I introduce myself. I have been working on British cars since the mid 60's and owned many along the way. My first driver was a 1962 Sprite. My favorite is my 1962 109 Station Wagon, which contains only the minimum number of bolts to hold it together, and I often have a line of crossovers behind me on hills. As a kid I could find MGs and Jaguars on the side of the road, for sale, cheap, because not many garages worked on foreign cars, and parts were hard to get, too. Now I am in my 60's and still work on them, most are a little rusty, but still are lots of fun. My yard is almost a museum, Land Rover, Jaguar, Morgan, and MG's waiting for attention. Too bad I cannot get my youngsters interested in vintage British iron...I am trying and... hoping.

Thanks for your help,

Denis

Welcome to our sometimes madhouse.

our board is a bit quiet this weekend due to the LandyZone weekender going on.

if you get the chance to post some photos of your "toys" parked in your garden waiting for attention, that would be nice.
I too have worked on old british cars since I was 15,
even being a mobile mechanic for a few years (a man with a van) ;)
now at 66 years of age, love my old disco 200 diesel,
but also own a nice, quiet, quick, lexus for posh trips...lol
my other toys are vespa scooters, or now piaggio modern auotmatic models..
