The chippy run has been done to death in my opinion, what with reccees, run and re-runs (an I fort evrywun was sposed to hand the distructions in at the end :rolleyes::D:D) But feel free if thats all you can come up with.

If you want diffrunt lanes, give me a shout, you know where I am, and I can run through some ideas on a map with you, but like I said I aint got time to get involved. If you is doin the plains on Sunday, I might tag along, to see some old faces, but carnt be arsed with Chippy run.

First of all it was my idea as I am comin down for the weekend.

As far as the Chippy run is concerned.. thats fine, but as a newbie.. Im happy either way.... and by the looks of the members names on the list they are happy to do that too, its called a get together as Minty is comin down (quote from pikey >>>> we dont want to disappoint her do we ) Im surprised that so many have added their names to the list already.. and Im lookin forward to meetin them all, so DV before you have a go at Pikey.. please understand that I asked him to post a fred and to sort out some guys and stuff ... he IMO did not assume that you would organise the whole trip, (quote from pikey >>> boomer said to give him a shout if we want to pick his brains ) he was merely askin for advice..... (in the only manner he knows how I will add ;) )so as to not disappoint me in my first experience of lanin, your name was not mentioned DV, he assumed one of the S*L*U*T*S would volunteer their expertise which could of been any number of people on here to reply and say yes Pikey ... I can help you out so Minty has a great weekend!

Ok......................so it was your idea, thats certainly not how the thread reads!!!!

Yes I did read that Boomer offered to give Pikey info, and as far as I know he hasn't bothered askin.

Maybe he didn't expect me to sort out this trip, but it certainly seems he wanted someone else to do it. I still stand by my offer to go through some alternate routes if he's interested, but as I waded through over 30 pages of posts this morning, nowhere did it say this is your idea or "its all for Minty".

To be honest, i hope you enjoy your trip down here, and there's some great laning to be done. I might even get to say hi if I come out on the Sunday.........................assuming i'm welcome after this.

For those comin who haven't done the run, I'm sure you'll enjoy it but for me, I'll keep looking for pastures new...................................................................

My idea yes........ but as a newbie from up north I aint exactly gonna say hey S*L*U*T*S you better organise your asses for a trip cos Im comin down.. my idea but ran the idea past pikey in private, and said that it would be nice to get a trip together, so I could meet as many as possible.


As for wadin through 30 pages of posts this mornin lookin for ""its all for Minty" you have wasted your time cos you wont find it ......... SEE POST 14 which states what I explained in POST 363

Well readin Pikeys furst post don't exactly enlighten peeps does it??? You dont even appear til Page 4 an dont you think its a bit strange that some of the S*L*U*T*s don't even know there is owt goin on til this mornin....................................

When the S*L*U*Ts have done summat in the past it's well known about by all of us, planned and sorted long before its posted on here.

I is coming too, if that's ok. Mr Medusa is acting a ballast again. I can only make one day depending on what is decided. I can't stay away due to animals needing injections and stuff.

Zan you can ride in the jump seat if you would like. Just let me know and I'll stick the seat in. :)

Enlighten peeps of what? :confused2: on the grand scale of things does it really matter that i was not mentioned till page 4 ?

S*L*U*TS are planned and sorted long before its posted on here......... well Pikey is no S*L*U*T so how would he communicate with you guys to ask for advice ... by carrier pigeon?

An yes we ave got phones down here and Pikey has the numbers, so if he wants to get involved in organisin summat then he should know what to do by now. And i have signed in most days, but dont expect to trawl through every section on this forum just in case there's a post which might relate to me.....................I aint got the time.


If it's just a question of you happen to be comin down, want to meet a few peeps and maybe do some lanin, fine..............but why do the S*L*U*Ts need to organise that. Pikeys got a map an phone, maybe he should use them.
 
just to get my 2 pence worth in I was under the impression that pikey and robin were the organisers of this little trip . I offered to take peeps out locally to get lost on the drove :D
