glass channels worn
O rings are simple to do just go on YouTube n follow the tutorial do your self a favour and go by a 1ft long Philips from tool station, you will thank me afterwardsSo finally got round to taking the door trim off to have a look and it appears somebody had removed lower front glass guide . I'm guessing it had bunched up and was grabbing the glass. Is it available seperately ?
Also, I've got to do heater matrix o rings which I've read up on and took panels off to have a look.
Doesn't look too much of an issue to do but wondered if o rings need any lube and I'm guessing the ali pipes move freely once screw is undone ?
I know you love your RR but that's a bit specialist interest!... I found it easier to get the wife to wiggle my pipes in the engine bay ...
Might do mine, not that they are leaking, if I can borrow her to wiggle my pipesHi, there is a How To guide at the top of the page on O rings, really are simple to do. Did mine in about an hour, as Dave mentions you will require a long screwdriver to reach screw and I found it easier to get the wife to wiggle my pipes in the engine bay when sliding out pipes to get to O rings and also when re installing them.
I'm not cutting 2 inches off mine to get 12 inches, and don't say I do not use it as a rule. Before he's had a go with the foot long philips, preferably.
I'll have a tenner's worth please.Yes gentlemen you may borrow the wife to wiggle your pipes, she will be wearing latex gloves as not to get oil under her finger nails plus I don't know where you lot have been, now do you require her in fetching overalls or the usuall stockings and basque, for a few quid she may blow through your pipes to get rid of your coolant too.
For £20 you get to watch me having my £10 worthim gonna go for a full 20 quids worth....... im a big spender
