Hi and hello from a newbie!
I was up in orkney at the weekend and went over to the isle of hoy, about 15 mins on the ferry, only to find miles of old military roads to play on!
the orcadians are a very frendly lot and no one said a word to me about offroading, in fact a farmer asked what i thought of the shogun in the slippy stuff!
there are loads of places to offroad on the mainland of orkney as well but i only had the time to to T-W-A-T-T airfeild (i jest not) as there are loads of ex military places just left to the wind and rain!
well worth a look if you up that way, enjoy the pics!
