Thank you once again for your invaluable advice. I will report back on here once I have done it to let you know if it goes well or not.

Dan.

Well finally got it done & could not of done it without the help of my better half, as that top far 10 mm nut was a b.a.s.t.a.r.d & I could not get my hand in there. I would say it makes the starter nut look easy lol. Anyway replacing that slabs ecu has done the trick & those dash lights have gone. I did not recalibrate the ride eight with the awkeye as it appears to sit the same height, but I am yet to take it for a drive. The one that I removed had the same SRD000150 serial number on it so I think I`m right that should work in conjunction with the centre diff lock when I fit it. Only bad thing was that upon starting it up I had a sever fuel leak. First thoughts were that the suspension may have dropped & cracked a pipe, but all seems ok. I then removed the fuel pump cover to find the green pipe had popped off & did it again upon refitting. I am wondering wether another seal etc got trapped when I swapped my fuel pump over. Anyway that is enough for one day.

P.s Thanks again to Sierraferry for his advice.

Dan

Yes it would
Thanks that`s good to know. I don`t suppose you have a picture of the seals that should be on the fuel pump ? I appear to have a black seal & 2 orange ones that popped out with the green fuel line & I`m leaving it till tomorrow to have a look at refitting it in the correct order.

Dan

The ones that are where the fuel pipes enter into te top of fuel pump housing. I have 2x black seals & 2 orange ones. I will have a look now it`s daylight to see wich order they go in.

Right seems like my probs are not over. The lights for ORM & SLS now come on & disappear with the self check system. However when the ORM button is presses it briefly illuminates the ORM light on the dash. This is with all the doors closed etc & there is no audible beep. I have checked FL 9 & other fuses & they all appear ok. Anyone else have another suggestion ?

Dan

Was that with engine running?
1. Do the interior lights go out after 15 seconds when you close the driver's door with ignitiion off?
2. Did you hear the compressor running since you replaced the ECU ?
3. IMO you should recalibrate height anyway.

Will check those things tomorrow & update, but yes the engine was running. I`m sure I heard the compressor running. I did not have any fault codes stored on Hawkeye though & I have the interior lights disconnected as I`m in the middle of sorting out the saggy headlining.

Thanks again for helping me through this sierrafery.

Right I had to go to the garage to get fuel as when the fuel pipe come off I lost almost all of it. Anyway fuel in & started up to check the compressor & I`m not sure it is running (a bit noisy under there) & now looking at it, it does appear to be lower down on drivers side now could this be to do with the slabs I have swapped over being faulty ? Anyway next check I sat in the car & waited to see if the middle interior light I have left connected whilst doing the headlining refit went out & it stayed illuminated after 15 secs. I then put the key in but did not turn it & the light was still on after another 15 secs.

AA-hhaa. You have hawkeye so go into BCU programming and make sure that the misslock warning is enabled and the alarm sounder set to "Both" or BBUS(if fitted) and save them so. Then lock with the fob with all the doors/bonnet closed. If you get the misslock audible warning(short horn sound) it means that one of the door switches is fubar so the SLABS ''thinks'' the door is opened that's why the compressor and ORM are disabled. We'll speak after that according to the result

I have version 6 will this do it ? I am just popping out with the family for a walk & then I will come back & check it out. Ooh think I have the answer then. I removed the rear left passenger actuator as I noticed it would lock, but not unlock on the button. But the ORM was still not working when the door lock actuator was fitted. I thought I would look at that whilst awaiting an answer on the ORM not working. With the door lock in my hand, I could hear the motor trying to work whilst locking/unlocking.

Unplug the suspect actuator cos while an actuator is unplugged the door is considered closed by the system as the door switch closes to earth when a door is opened

Right I have it unplugged. I pressed the ORM button & it still just lights up the dash light & goes back out when the button is released. This is the same as before I unplugged it. Also bridge the relay and compressor does work.

Which means it can be other door switch fubar too, let two doors opened and lock with fob...if you dont hear anything the misslock warning is disabled and you can't know so better do what i said before... unless the interior light will go out after 15 secs with that door unplugged

I went round and opened all doors individually and tried locking them & each time the mislock warning sounded, but now the interior light does go out after 15 seconds with the key in ignition. I have tried the ORM again but it still just lights up and goes out when you let go of the button.

Just confirm if all the doors are closed the misslock doesnt sound when you lock? also did you ever connect hawkeye to that replacement ECU to see the settings or codes in it?

Yes when I press the lock button with the rear left door actuator unplugged it locks like it should do with no mislock warning. I did not connect the hawkeye to the replacement ecu to check for settings just plugged the replacement ecu straight in & the SLS & ORM light was no longer displyayed on the dash
